An underwater volcano called Submarine Volcano III and it is located 46km north west from the main island and the capital Nuku'alofa. Satellite photo have proven that the eruption is still underway so the water is going to be boiling hot for the people of Tonga. Volcanologists have warned shipping companies that with this underwater volcano it is going to be very dangerous for the crew onboard the ship. This is far from the first time the Kingdom of Tonga has been struck from an underwater volcano. Being a Tongan this is some very alarming news, my family is from Tonga and hearing this made me curious to find out more about the Submarine Volcano III.
