3.  Use rounding and compensating to solve addition and subtraction problems.

1. 56 + 99 = 99 + 1 = 100 , 100 + 56 =156 - 1 = 155
2. 67 + 9=  9 +1 =10 , 67 +3 = 70 - 4 = 64
