Use this working out to show the answers for the other beads:

There are 5 beads in each row.

                                                                5+5= 10

                                                               5x2= 10

                                                                               There are 7 beads in each row.

                                                                                7+7= 14

                                                                                7x2= 14

Example: 5 + 5 is the same as 2 x 5= 10
