Technology Reflection:T2W8

In session of technology I was very efficient after I got a talk from the teacher. I just started making my first project which is a bull and I struggle at first but with the help of my friends I managed to finish and go on to my next project. I chose a bull because I think it looked cool and because my favourite team in nba used to be chicago bulls.

When I finished my first 3D concept I was very proud because I made it myself and with some help from my friends. During this moment we had visitors from Whakatane and they went around and asked some questions about blogging and how we use our netbooks and one of the men gave us his email so he can see our blogs. My next project was a shield and it was pretty easy to do now that I knew the measurements.

We packed up and left to the bus and on the way back we sang some songs. Thank you for reading my reflection about technology and please leave a comment, much love to you all.

Kiwi Sport Reflection: T2W8

Image result for golden child basketball gameWALT: show teamwork while playing basketball at Kiwi Sport.
In this session of Kiwi Sport we just played games and the games that we played were Golden Child and Numbers. We started and I had to leave to go to the office and when I came back their was some confusion because Siale told me I was in his team but I was actually in Gary's team, this was during Golden Child and our team won. It was neck and neck and in the end our team came out with the win. I was happy because we won and my team was with some people that I don't usually talk to and in the end our teamwork earn us the win.

Unfortunately we couldn't keep up the streak and were beaten in Numbers, the way to play numbers is you split a group of people and they line up on the side line by the half court line, then the coach/teacher calls a number and they have to run in that number to the goal and then get the ball at half court. This game was stressful because my team was not spreading out and the mvps of my team would have had to have been Gary, Tevita and George. This session was a fun one and it was also the last one and because it is i'm very sad because throughout this experience I have learn to love basketball and can't wait to play eve more in the future.

Please leave a comment if you too love basketball and thank you so much for reading this blogpost, much love to you all.

Leadership Reflection T2W7

Image result for david from the bibleWALT: learn leadership in these lesson and then use them.
Today was our first leadership lesson with Miss Latoia and Mr Milo, I was surprised because I was stuck here in the class doing blog post and Mr Milo came and asked for the leaders and I got up and went.

It was a bit of a mix up because most of the leaders were doing fitness but when we got them we started by having Mr Milo introduce himself, when he was done Miss Latoia was talking us about the activity and then we chose leaders to research about. The leaders that I remember are Jesus, David from the bible, Adolf Hitler and Mahatma Gandhi, in group was Akanesi and Perenara.

After we finished we stood up and said what we found out and even the three teachers found something out. After that we just talked about the qualities a leader has and they are determined, consistent and respect their people. Please leave a comment if you think you're a leader and much love to you all.

Large fire breaks out in London building

WALT:read articles not only about NZ but also the around the globe.
A large fire has destroyed a tower in London, the fire broke out at around 1pm NZ time at the Grenfell Tower in North Kensington at West London and was a shock to all the locals. The fire brigade arrived 6 minutes late to the scene but struggled to contain the huge fire. . The London fire brigade said they were able to rescue  "a large number of people very early on".

However some people are known to be very injured or even dead because of this, victims are very sad for their lost ones. Local churches, mosques and businesses are trying there best to help the people who have been affected by this incident.

I feel very sad for the people who have died and their families and I also feel a little suspicious because in the article it doesn't say how this fire started and because of that mistake people have been killed and seriously injured. If you found this article interesting please leave a comment and much love to you all.

Technology Reflection: T2W7

This session of technology was alright I guess because it was quite boring just sitting down and drawing, I was finished with my concept ideas so Miss Ferguson gave me some cardboard and told me what to do. My final design I chose was a bull and once I finished it I gave it to some friends to trace like my friend Kiko and Kauri, when I traced my other it wasn't perfect but Miss said that it's okay. I was feeling proud at that moment because it looked great and I help my friends and once finished cutting them out we had to cut a square for the clock base and then make a small thing out of the cardboard to make our project look 3D like in the photo. The lesson finished and we left back to the bus and headed back to school. Overall I was proud of this lesson because I made a lot of progress along with some other boys and girls. Thank you for reading this reflection about my experience at technology, please leave a comment and much love to you all.

Different Types of Clock

WALT: learn new thing with our experiences at technology
In this DLO we had to add photos about different clocks, at first it was boring
but while looking at all of the clock I discovered new and amazing clock like the

when Miss Ferguson said we were doing clock I wasn't happy but now I am exited
to make them.

The types of clocks I found were ballon clock, pedestal clock, slave clock and even
more. I also got idea from others and we are currently making clocks and I can't wait
to show it off to all my family and friends. Anyways thank you for reading this reflection

Maths Reflection T2W7

IALT: improve on my multiplication
Today for maths we had parents come in to check what we were doing and how we learn, we started off by getting into groups and in my group was Gary, Siale, Sifa and Timeus. The things we first had were cards and we thought about a bunch of games like graveyard and president but out of all of them we chose Mohe Uli.

Playing this I felt very happy because it was a fun and competitive game, when you lose you are the Mohe Uli and the two losers were Timeus and Gary but Sifa cheated so he also lost. We changed the game and it was a pretty boring game, it was rolling two dice and multiplying them, I thought it was gonna be boring but it was actually fun because it was a fun and fast game.

We played other games and about 5 parents came to our class and unfortunately my mum was not one of them. Overall I felt very good about this experience because we could have parent see how we really work in the class. Hopefully you enjoyed my reflection about this class experience and please leave a comment, much love.

Integrity Poster

IALT: remember to use integrity in and outside of the classroom
This is a poster with a quote about integrity and I was told from my teacher to
do this. It took about 45 minutes to do because I was stuck but I got help from my good friend
Aumau, the photos he put in I deleted because the teacher said it was blocking the
words. If you didn't see the quote reads "Doing what you say you are going to do when you say
you are going to do it. Not just for everyone else but for yourself too!".

I'm proud of my
poster because it was original and it's eye catching to me, we learn't about integrity in Kiwi Can
and it inspired this poster to be made. My teacher also approved of it so it's going to be stapled out side the class for everyone to see. Please leave a comment if you found this helpful and I
hope by reading this you have gotten some moderation for what ever you do day to day.
Much Love to you all.

Kiwi Can Reflection: T1W7

Image result for kiwicanWALT: take what we have learnt in kiwican and use them in our community.
In this lesson of Kiwi Can we talked about the importance of showing reliability and responsibility.

Reliability means to be trustworthy and having other rely on you to do something for them, responsibility is like having a role and you pursue that role and be responsible for doing it.

We warmed up with a Sasa and a Sasa is a cultural dance from the country of Samoa. After that we moved on to the activity and that was numbers, the way to play that game is for everyone to spread out and someone will call a number and you need to get into those numbers.

This game was fun and competitive and the winner was unfortunately not me but my friend Siale. We had our talk and  then we played a game called bot it, the way to play was Miss Lily would call either bot it, twist it, jump or spin it but we done it while Mr M was playing a beat, it was boys vs girls and I think the boys won.

We were with two other classes which was Room 7 and Room 2. In this lesson I have learnt a lot and I can't wait for more Kiwi Can lessons to learn even more. Please leave a comment if you too have one been responsible or reliable, much love to you all.

Kiwi Sport Reflection: T1W7

Image result for basketball abslWALT: reflect about something we did.
For this lesson of Kiwi Sport we didn't get to play we just warmed up and then it started to rain, unfortunately we had to come back inside and instead of playing we did a pop quiz about basketball. The rules were, if someone answer three question correctly then everyone else had to do five of either push ups, star jump and squats. The questions I remembered "How many players in a basketball team" the answer is 12 but on the court can only be 5 players. After that we talked about positions and the position are PG=Point Guard, SG=Shooting Guard, SF=Small Forward,PF=Power Forward and finally C=Centre. In this lesson I think that I have learnt a lot more things about basketball and I can't wait to play even more basketball in the future. We also had a coach filling in for Hyrim and his name is coach Yaran and he was very inspirational because he was telling that nothing is impossible and he was telling us about Steven Adams and how he was just like us, but through hard work he because a NBA super star. Please leave a comment and hope you enjoyed my reflection about the second to last session of basketball and I can't wait for next week, and much love to you all.

Blog Post Rap

WALT: learn how to create a quality blogpost.
This rap was by Me, Aumau and Matthew and it was for a cyber smarts lesson but we showed it to the associate principal and she said that it was great so we made a music video and obviously I edited it. I was proud because it was made from scratch but the song we rapped to was from Boom Bullet and Dj Noiz, the rap was mostly Aumau but the editing was mostly me. This video was edited so we can show it to the juniors who are just starting to blog so they know what a blog post is and what a quality blog post is. We struggled with filming because the quality and because people kept coming and ruining it by walking past or just annoying us. Hope you enjoy, please leave a comment if you did enjoy it and much love to you all.

IALA:social medias and how they updates things get more people on their site.
Recently the social media Twitter has increased the amount of emoji, and everyone knows that emojis are used not only on social media but in things like texting and blogging. They include a few new flags, a woman with headscarf, persons with gray hair, the starstruck and the mind blown smiley.
